Course Description

The BA (Hons) in Business is a multi-disciplinary and dynamic course composed of three modules that cover managerial finance, entrepreneurship and innovation, and a final year project.

You will also undertake a practical work placement to build your professional and employability skills.

On graduation, students will be business ready, in a position to seek new employment, enhance their employability with improved business insights, capability and expertise.

Assessment

Assessment will include coursework and projects. Students will also be required to demonstrate effective teamwork, using case studies and presentations.

Career Progression

Upon completion of the BA (Hons), you will be able to undertake further studies in the UK. On graduation, students are well-placed to pursue postgraduate opportunities and enhance your professional development in education and related fields. Many graduates go on to postgraduate and continuing professional development studies.

Entry Requirements

Students without traditional entry qualifications are welcome as our decisions are based on the applicant’s qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. Hence, we may waive formal academic entry requirements based on our judgement of academic potential.

We would normally require a minimum of an HND or Foundation Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. Where applicants do not hold this level of qualification, they may be required to take a skills test.

International Entry Requirements

Where English is not your first language or your previous study was not in English, we would typically expect you to have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.5, or a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 79, or equivalent.
